The Mowbray features the Eastbourne Visitor Passport scheme, offering guests discounts in restaurants, attractions and shops in Eastbourne.There is plenty of such parking all around The Mowbray. Parking Permits are available on request. These provide parking all day and until 11:00 the following morning for just £3.00 per day.In conformity to UK legislation The Mowbray is a no smoking property and only has non-smoking rooms. We guide our guests to the nearest smoking area if needed. Unfortunately a charge of £150 is added to any account where this has been breached.As The Mowbray is In our delightful late Victorian or early Edwardian historic building there are some limitations for those with severely reduced mobility. The doors do not allow for wheelchairs use, the front door is up a few steps and the breakfast room is accessed by stairs, but for those with more mobility there are 2 good handrails at the entrance and the breakfast stairs, a lift goes to all bedrooms from the entrance floor and every ensuite, has a walk-in shower. We can serve a limited breakfast in the guest lounge if the breakfast stairs prove impossible.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The hotel is just across the road from the Eastbourne theatres and has an early check in so is ideal when going to the theatre. It is also very close to the seafront which makes it an ideal location.

It was cosy, warm and relaxing. The addition of a coffee machine was great. The coffee/tea supplies were replenished promptly when empty. It was a great location for the sea and central town.

The breakfast was really good and hot. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is great. It is a very short walk to the sea front about a minute away and not far from the city centre.

We really enjoyed our stay in The Mowbray. We had two rooms, both very clean with very comfortable beds. Lovely comfy lounge too! Staff were friendly and helpful, serving a lovely cooked breakfast each morning.

Breakfast was 1st class. Stayed a couple of nights and had our milk and coffee topped up. Plus biscuits and sweets were a bonus.

Roy and his team were a joy to chat with, and always have a smile. Having had a great time during our visit, seeing the sights and the likes of, the hotel was comfortable place to chill and enjoy. Just a short walk from the beach and town, the Mowbray is ideally situated.
