Meals were excellent but I think maybe the drinks could have been served after we sat down. My tea was fine as I take little milk but others having coffee were disappointed. Is hot water put in the teapot and jugs and swirled round just before putting in tea and coffee. This makes a difference. Every meal was excellent, hot and beautifully presented, and varied.

Lovely staff and much more modern room than expected given the age of the building. Quite old-fashioned in operation (not a problem - just a bit different). Seemed to cater mostly to the older folk, but no complaints at all from me.

Overall the experience is fine. Happy with the car park but unfortunately so disappointed with the privacy 2 times housekeeping entered in the room and there was no double locked from inside. Unbelievable they just open the door from outside and came in WTH. In my opinion privacy and comfort are the 2 main factors anywhere else in the hotel. We’ll not recommend to anyone.

Just needed a simple room for an overnight stay. Comfortable enough. Had to leave too early for breakfast. I'd stay again.

Great position for the sea front, pier, cliffs, theatres, tennis and places to eat. Parking nearby is by paid for by phone not coins. However, NCP car park is two streets away ( give minute walk). This gave me 24 hour parking and I was advised to book a space for any large events taking place - air show, tennis etc.
