Vila Kaci is a homey family run hotel. High on a hill. the rooms have balconies facing the sea. It is just a ten minute walk to the the Roman Amphitheater and the city center. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The owners are wonderful and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Since it was low season, I was able to stay in my room longer to catch the evening ferry. The seafood dinner which costs extra is not to be missed. And the breakfast which is included in the price was tasty and ample.

Vila Kaci (pronounced "Kachi") is a family run hotel in a residential part of Durres, about 1,5 km from the city center. It's located on a hillside overlooking the whole city and the waterfront, so the view is simply spectacular, especially from the cozy restaurant on the 4th floor. The hotel is elegantly and tastefully decorated, very clean and with comfortable beds, good wifi and a/c. The owners are extremely helpful and welcoming. The breakfast is rich and very good - continental style, not buffet. The restaurant also offers special fish dinners which are just outstanding, highly recommended!

Location is BEAUTIFUL -- beautiful views of the water....and the surrounding city / hills. The breakfast is perfect -- and if you want dinner -- they will make it for you! I had fresh fish -- it was DELICIOUS. The family is so sweet -- they treat you just like one of their own family!!!

Very comfortable bed, quiet environment, beautiful views, best breakfast!!!, super clean, most lovely and kind people live and work in this family business! The rooftop with its amazing and cozy restaurant was our highlight! Can only recommend it, we will definitely come back!

The host snd his wife were pleasant, very helpfull. The rooms were spatkling clean. The property is a walkable distance to numerous atractions. The vreakfast is great, and tastefull. The host helped me with car rental as well.

After a long and tiring day of travelling, arriving in Vila Kac felt incredible. We were welcomed in the late hours of the night, offered raki on the balcony and looked after our wellbeing (and what a view from the balcony!) The atmosphere here was amazing, and all those lovely plants! Everyone we met on the staff was super helpful and friendly. We got a late check out and printed our tickets. Breakfast was wonderful and atmospheric. The room was clean and quiet. Likewise, the air conditioning was the quietest we experienced during our entire trip. Too bad we only stayed one night, we wished we could have stayed longer! Next time then!

We loved the place, the food and atmosphere. Edi was such a nice host and great person. He prepared a mega feast for us. Totally recommended and we will definitly come back.
