Location was reason for choosing property, near to family. Kitchen well equipped. TV fine, but mounted high on lounge wall. Pub a short distance away does a reasonable meal and not expensive. WiFi ok.

Jon was a great host. The rural setting and local pub were excellent. A reasonably easy journey by car into Durham and to the Living Museum in Beamish:a must see. We will definitely be back and look forward to seeing more of County Durham.

Has good facilities in the room - the washing machine and dryer was a plus point. Small but cozy. Love the rural surroundings.

It was a warm and cosy cottage in a very quiet area near Durham University. It was clean and had all the amenities. The owner was very responsive when we had a query.

The Loft cottage we stayed in was warm, spacious and comfortable. It has a great. It really felt like home. There is a great village pub across the street with good food and we enjoyed a game of trivia with the locals who made us feel welcome as well. The hosts were very good and what you see in the photos is exactly what you get.
