Elerkin was ideally situated for our visit to Durham and to visiti family in Newcastle. Great views from the house and good places to walk our dog. Bed was really comfortable. Peaceful and quiet. The Cross Keys pub food was excellent and only a two minute walk away.

The location is set in a lovely little village a little way out but was nice for what we wanted. And perfect for us to see the northern lights while their . Beds were comfortable. 90% clean. It felt really homely. Nice touches were it had milk and tea coffee and sugar and packet of busicit. Aswell as washing up products. Fully equipped kitchen I would happily stay a week.

Loved the view over the valley from the upstairs lounge. The super-king sized bed was very comfortable.

Very clean, tidy, light and the view from the living room was fantastic. Bed extremely comfortable, shower, probably the best I've had. All shops and amenities close by. I'd very much like to stay again.

The view was excellent across the valley. Local pub was a revelation especially on quiz night. Nive local walks around the village of Esh
