Immaculate Cosy Quiet Good communication from the owner throughout, via email. Lovely little pub on the corner of accommodation grounds where you receive 10% off your food bill. Overall, would deffo recommend .

These are lovely little places to stay, near Durham centre. Think if it like a hotel room with a kitchen and you can't go wrong. I don't think it would suit someone who intended to spend evenings in the property, as it is very small.

Lovely and clean, the bed was very comfortable and the shower was great. Kitchen was well kitted out save for baking trays and kitchen roll. Heating was easy to set. The soap and shower gel smell really nice. The area was very quiet and peaceful. Parking was easy being off the road and right in front of the door. Plenty of shops and a takeaway close by which is always handy. We had a cosy comfortable stay.

John is an excellent host, nothing was too much trouble. We got lost coming in from Durham, John stayed on the phone and guided us in. Met us on arrival, explained the facilities. We arrived on the day of a Red weather warning, needed to stay an extra night. John managed to sort that out no problem. Quiet location, only 3 miles out of Durham. Parking at the door. The Bayhorse pub was just at the entrance to the accommodation, excellent food and friendly staff. Comfortable bed, plenty hot water. Toiletries and tea, coffee and milk were there on arrival.

The room was perfect size, very clean and tidy, a very comfortable stay. Everything you needed was provided in the room. Just what we needed around the Christmas period. Will certainly be returning on our next trip to Durham.

I stayed here as it's very near to my son so it's convenient stay. Parking is right outside the cottage door and the facilities are excellent.

Easy to find and the check in instructions were on point - super easy and advised in good time. The room was as described, warm when I arrived and they had provided plenty of towels which is always a bonus. The location is very good and having a restaurant onsite is very convenience, the property is an easy drive from Durham City. I would gladly stay again!

The room was spacious, clean and thoughtfully decorated. We liked the decor. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was newly done and well designed for the small space.
