There was a wedding on at the same time as our stay, not an issue but would have been nice to have been told prior to this. Was very loud until midnight, we went for a relaxed night away so wasn’t ideal, also made dining tricky as would have been the only ones in the restaurant not from the party. Not a problem, but a heads up would have been nice. The heating was also on when we arrived in the room, it was 20 degrees outside so internal heating wasn’t needed

We loved the room we stayed in was very nice and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was very nice and we really like the relaxed atmosphere at bowburn hall.

Was a great room lovely hotel - great food As everywhere these days steak was expensive but delicious - my meal cost nearly as much as the room (i did have a bottle of wine) Staff were helpful ad attentive - all in all a great venue outside of the centre of the city - even though they had a wedding to prepare for i didnt feel neglected

The hotel and the grounds and very nice, and located very close to Durham. The room was exceptional, although the heating was constantly on so got very hot. Also, the executive suite has a stunning bath, but the toilet door isn't frosted completely and is directly opposite the bath. So don't go to the toilet when somebody is having bath... unless you're comfortable with that.

Got married there ten years ago and was there for anniversary. We thought we were getting same room we stayed in as thats why booked. Unfortunately didnt but was very nice

From the moment we entered the reception the staff couldn't do enough for us and really professional and polite. We stayed in one of the lodges and it was like staying in a home away from home . The food was lovely

We stayed here for 2 nights whilst visiting relatives in Durham. Hotel was exactly what we were looking for & only 5 mins from the A/M1 so easily accessible. Rooms were spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had dinner on both nights - food was excellent. A special mention about the staff. Every member of staff was extremely friendly, helpful and above and beyond accommodating. Thank you

The property was a lovely building, with excellent outside area. The decor was and furniture was well presented. It looked fresh and spotlessly clean. Bed was very comfortable with luxurious toiletries and towels in bathroom
