Hotel Overview

Situated in the peaceful centre of Durbuy overlooking the medieval castle, this hotel offers rooms with modern-style décor. The entire main building of Hotel Sanglier, including the 2 restaurants, wellness centre, bar and rooms has been renovated in April 2018.
Some of the rooms at the hotel include a flat-screen TV, a minibar and a seating area. All rooms are equipped with a safety deposit box. Some of the rooms at Sanglier des Ardennes boast views over the Ourthe River.
One of the hotel's restaurants, La Bru'sserie, offers a selection of tapas and sharing food from around the world and a local gin from the Ardennes.
Guests can relax in the wellness centre for an extra charge. It features a sauna, spa bath and hammam. A range of beauty treatments are also offered including manicures and exfoliating treatments.
The centre Marche-en-Famenne is just over 20 minutes drive from the hotel. Liege, featuring sights including the Curtius Museum, is 50 minutes away by car. Golf Blue Green de Durbuy is a 10-minute drive away.

Gorgeous location. My heart smiles every time I park up at this hotel. The rooms are spacious, clean and well serviced. Staff are helpful, WIFI excellent and check out at 12 is really helpful for morning work calls.

Stunning hotel and town. Beautifully designed, real feeling of opulence and gorgeous wine selection, in a cellar that goes under the road, linking the 2 parts of the hotel. We had a suite overlooking the square and the river, with a deep windowsil you could sit and watch the world go by.It feels old fashioned but in a lovely way. We weren't expecting Durbuy to be as gorgeous as it was, lots of tiny cobbled streets filled with bars and restaurants.

The spa is wonderful, well worth the extra €50 to use, but make sure you book in advance! All the facilities we used were lovely, very comfortable bed and the staff were very helpful. We had a one night stopover en route to Spa for the F1 and it was a lovely bit of luxury before 4 days at a race track! Durbuy is a fab city, we had an excellent traditional Belgian meal at La Brasserie Ardennaise and delicious brunch at super cute Édouard Garden Café.

I tried a few times to book this hotel and finally I had success and the wait was all worth it. The room was beautiful and comfy, the food was excellent. I did my birthday dinner and it couldn't have been better.
