There is lots to see and do, one aim was to go aboard The Waverley, which was great, ferry crossings too first class... cannot fault anything Weve had 2 really good weeks of fine weather too.

The Apartment was large enough for a family of 4 with lots of space. You can see Diane and Donald were warm and welcoming hosts. Its a short walk into the centre of the town to all the shops and restaurants* You can see the sea from the living room although it is in the distance and the garden to the property is BEAUTIFUL! There are lots of amazing walks a short drive away Puks Glen and Benmore botanic gardens, also the beaches (Sand or Pebbles over in Ardentiny were lovely. Dunoon is a very quiet town, but is great for rest and relaxtation with stunning walks. It is a great base to visit Inverary, the isle of Bute and surrounding villages. The drive to each of these is breath taking, the roads although small, are very well maintained.
