“The Haven, the perfect 3 star hotel in Dunmore east”

The Haven is a very welcoming authentic old 3 star country house hotel nestled high on the Dunmore hillside, all rooms in the main building including the bedrooms have high beautifully corniced ceilings, a nod to bygone grandeur. The lobby, stairs and landings are carpeted but are spotlessly clean and cozy. The bedrooms are decorated to a good standard , again the high decorative ceilings coupled with the original doors and windows give this hotel a unique old world vibe. Breakfast is very good, if having dinner off season it might be a good idea to stick with the seafood and chef specials which my fellow dinners raved about. The welcoming efficient staff make the Haven a special place to visit and the perfect stopover in the gorgeous fishing village Dunmore East.

We were welcomed with an upgrade to a four poster room with a sea view, which was so special with it being our last night in Ireland. The character of the hotel was beautiful and each room decorated beautifully. Staff were so helpful and friendly.
