The location is very central and easy to get to but the access to the carpark is very tight

My stay here was fabulous as a 62yo F solo traveller. Everything you need is within walking distance. Spoiled for choice with great cafes, restaurants and shopping options all within a leisurely stroll. Staff were charming and extremely friendly. Room size, facilities, cleanliness, free parking, comfort of beds exceptional.

Breakfast was good, only thing we asked for poached eggs which took a long time to come from the kitchen.

Excellent service from staff. Staff pleasant and helpful. Room was comfortable and clean. Car park at hotel was free with plenty spaces available. Would book this hotel again would also recommend this venue to friends and family.

The location is ideal for a night out. A good size room. Comfy bed. The breakfast was lovely. The waitresses were helpful with my dietary requests. Chef provided a great meal. Best scrambled eggs ever.

It’s a lovely old hotel, full of character and history, with helpful and cheerful staff and comfortable and clean beds and bathroom. My room was very spacious and had a kettle and cups for tea and coffee, and very nice biscuits too. It was quiet and dark and I slept very well.
