The Dolphin is in an excellent location and though I hadn't stayed in a hostel for years, I was very pleased with what I found. The host Shane was very helpful, the bathrooms/showers were clean, the hostel was clean and if I was staying in Dunbar again I wouldn't have any hesitation in staying again.

I loved the quirky things around the hostel like typewriter to have a go on and the fish tank in a tv. The staff were super friendly, helpful and extremely knowledgable about the area.

Excellent place to stay. I hope to return. Dunbar town is interesting place to walk around and cliff top walks are great. Dolphin is very handily placed for bus stops and train station
