The staff were very friendly the pool was good. Location is good beach near by. you can use bus to reach the hotel even do we did not used it.

The views were stunning and you will get some stunning pictures, room was upgraded to pool and sea view which was hugely appreciated and stunning at night, overlooking the lit up Dubrovnik Bridge. The location was great for jumping on buses into town and easy to use and 2 bus stops 5 minutes away. Whole area was safe and inviting with some local shops and Maro World for kids was excellent. A LOT of money has been spent on this centre, 2 minutes from the hotel reception in a separate bespoke building. Bedrooms newly decorated, large and bright. Beds comfy although 2 pillows would per person would be a huge improvement. Bathroom all new, large walk in shower with excellent water pressure, housekeeping service excellent. Lot more steps down to pool and beach than photos would suggest so think twice if you have a problem with them in general but on bright side you'll get more than your daily 10k steps in here! Fabulous number of activities to choose from but nothing organised as Eay season, same with evening entertainment, non existent during our stay, the hotel appeared to have only been open a week or so. Reception staff good although many seemed new and not overly familiar with the local area so double check everything they say. The central park close by has all the other Valamar hotels around it and you can use the facilities in each, well worth a wander to see their individual bars and pools etc. Food good on general but annoying that the drinks machine is turned off for evening meal except water and this is an expensive add on you won't be expecting. I would also say it is a great choice for solo travellers and there is a calm safe feeling abput the whole area. I would travel there as a lone traveller without any hesitation.

De friendliness of employees- they accomodated all our wishes, even upgraded our rooms for free. We were traveling with a 2 year old, so the hotel arranged for us 2 rooms next to each other connected with a door when we asked to stay close to our parents. It was end of the season, but everything was great all facilities working. Top was indeed the MARO playground 2 min walking distance- so much fun for all generations 😂. Also, I had gluten and dairy free diet and when it was difficult for me to find something I liked in the buffet, they made me an extra dish. Thank you!

Great location with lots of walking trails and wonderful views. Maro animation center for kids offers whole day activities for children. Great restaurants around the hotel. Brunch and dinner offers plenty of quality food.

This establishment is highly regarded by our organization, and we had the pleasure of visiting in October. The cuisine and staff were both excellent, and its proximity to the bus stop, a mere five minutes away, is ideal.

Great location, beach and pool are great. View is fascinating. All is perfect , food is fantastic with great selection.
