Hotel Overview

Staff so helpful and offered free room upgrade as it was our first stay. Great location, few mins walk from Pearse St station and close to busy Grafton St area. Room immaculate, decor stunning and breakfast was gorgeous.

Had all you needed, beds comfortable and appointed, good bathroom (though no bath… but great shower) Staff were exceptional. Really friendly really helpful. Bar was in restaurant area and was there but not a destination but better to have than not. Locations was super for town and rugby stadium set Stephens Green and the like.

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful! Was really impressed with the service all round. Was made to feel very welcome so much so that I would have liked to stay a few more nights. This was my 2nd time staying at the Alex. Will be back again for another city break! Thanks again to the lovely staff!

The room was perfect and the customer service throughout our stay was exceptional- the staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The location was super central and yet it was quiet and peaceful. The bed was 10/10.

I stay in Dublin regularly for work and when possible I stay at the Herbert. The location is very good for the AVIVA and just 5 min drive from St Stephens green. Rooms very comfortable and the staff are very good . The outstanding part here is the Breakfast. First thing in the morning looking out on Herbert Park but more importantly the Breakfast is what you always remember an Irish Breakfast to be...Haffners sausages and all... Too many Hotels closer to town do a semi streaky fatty or over cooked bacon and sausages with Herbs or the consistency of putty ...or mushrooms drowned in black pepper. Keep it up Herbert park.
