With live, traditional Irish music every night, O'Donoghue's is located on the corner of St Stephen’s Green, 5 minutes’ walk from Grafton Street. Guests can enjoy the lively, traditional bar, 10 minutes’ walk from Temple Bar district.
The traditionally furnished rooms all include free WiFi, a private bathroom with hairdryer. Guests can relax with a TV, free tea and coffee, and a refrigerator. Each room features soundproofing.
St. Stephen’s Green features excellent public transport links, including the LUAS tram, bus, and DART train stations. There is also a taxi rank outside O’Donoghues’s front door. Trinity College is a 5-minute walk away, and O’Connell Street can be reached in 15 minutes on foot.
O'Donoghue's showcases live music from 21:00 on weekdays and 13:00 on weekends. Light snacks and drinks are available all day in the bar, and there are a number of cafes in the area.

The fine print
O'Donoghue's is a popular bar with a central location so some street noise and noise from patrons leaving the bar may be experienced on lower floor at busy times.
There are 3 floors and no lift.
Check-in is at the bar and there is a separate entrance to the guest house. If arriving early please forward us flight details and we will try to arrange early check in.
Metered parking in the area from 7am-7pm Monday-Saturday. Mornings can be prepaid for 3 hours. Dawson street car park located 5 minutes away.
Payment is made upon arrival.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

This little gem on Merrion Row is all you need in Dublin City the place itself is steeped in Irish music history and is abundant with young n older talent playing daily to all , my accommodation was spotless and very comfortable new shower room and the staff equally professional and friendly I cannot recommend this little gem more and thank you folks for making my stay so memorable 😘👍👍👍👍👍

I picked the location in the city center . My room was small but it served its purpose for the one night and very warm for an Irish room ! My luggage was brought upstairs . My room had a kettle / TV and private en suite bathroom .

I strongly recommend it. The flight was delayed and they wait for us untill almost 4am, with all kindness. The atmosphere in the pub is excellent. Thank you once again

Loved location and lively bar atmosphere although it was a really busy weekend with the rugby. Check in was done so quick as was so busy.

Great place, above a lively irish bar. Very comfortable and cosy. Even when the pub was singing till the early hours we we were not disturbed in our room.

Our accommodation was as expected for the double room for our two night stay. The pictures online were accurate, minus the flowers :), and the write up of what was offered was true. The towel warmer was fabulous. The bathroom is the best part of the room for sure. We were on the 3rd floor and the stairs up are steep and narrow. We were delighted that our bags were carried up for us at check in. The bed was fairly comfortable, the linens a bit on the rough side, & the pillows were fine. Housekeeping does come in and they did a great job. The room is above the pub area so you do hear some music, laugher, chatter, and outside noise. We enjoyed the Guinness at the pub and the Irish music. The location is perfect for walking to many tourist venues and restaurants. We felt safe walking during the day and evening.
