The staff were so friendly, welcoming throughout the hotel, from check in to dining in Knights Bar. Great location for a break away. Bull Island & Dollymount strand close to stretch your legs.

Location was v good . It was a sad occasion as we were attending s funeral however the warm welcome we recd from the staff uplifted our mood and then the room turned out lovely and warm we were comforted. We had dinner which was v tasty too. All In all a wonderful experience despite the occasion

Old castle building is superbly integrated into hotel and the traditional style decor makes for a great atmosphere. Food was excellent although with wine and extras ended up costing as much as the room.

Beautiful hotel, very close to a 5 star in my humble opinion. We could have scored this a 9/10 but had to drop to a 7/10 given the awful experience we, and many other guests had in the breakfast room. See below for details. Our stay and overall experience at the hotel was saved by the very competent and professional assistant front desk manager (Iraní Kosgoda). Thank you again.
