The fine print
A compulsory charge of AED 1400 per adult and AED 700 per child (6–12 years) applies on all bookings staying over 31st December.This charge includes a New Year’s Eve gala dinner and access to the lobby festivities.The hotel requires a 100% non-refundable deposit for the entire stay (including the gala dinner charges). This deposit shall be collected 30 days prior to the arrival date.In case of early departure, the property will charge the full amount of stay plus taxes.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Our stay at the Hyatt Regency was comfortable, and the breakfast was delicious. However, the experience became repetitive over the days, and the service at the egg station was frustratingly slow. It often took 45 minutes to get a simple omelette, and on several occasions, it never arrived at all. When it did, it was usually after an exhausting wait, just as we were about to leave. We even mentioned this to the managers, who were easy to spot in their suits, but unfortunately, there was no noticeable improvement. The egg station service and overall breakfast management need significant improvement, as this level of inefficiency is unacceptable. We also faced another issue with one of the receptionists during our stay. My mother had a hospital check-up, and we needed a result report printed urgently to take to the pharmacy. I approached the reception desk, and the receptionist, Rafik, initially told me that printing would be complimentary. However, moments later, he said it would cost 57 AED for just 9 pages. This felt odd, particularly as returning guests who have consistently chosen Hyatt Regency and even held my wedding at one of their hotels. Charging for such a small yet urgent request, especially under the circumstances, felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. We didn’t have local currency on hand, so we had to leave without the prints. Thankfully, a nearby hair salon where I had been a customer recently offered to print the documents for free.. a level of hospitality and understanding we would have expected from the Hyatt Regency. I would strongly recommend that Hyatt Regency staff adopt a more accommodating approach for small, essential requests such as printing documents, boarding passes, or visas. In today’s digital age, such needs are infrequent, and fulfilling them without hassle would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Everything was perfect The employees were always very friendly and helped us with any question we had. The guys in the pool were always very helpful. The last day Maila served us in the restaurant and actually trached us how to use the chopsticks.
