The fine print
Please note guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. The credit card must match the one used to guarantee the booking.To guarantee any charges during the stay, including the Tourism Dirham Fee of AED 20 per room per day, the guest must present a valid credit card in their name. The hotel will pre-authorize an amount to cover the charges, and if the billing exceeds this amount, additional authorization will be required. The credit card will only be charged for the actual amount of the bill upon check-out, and any unused pre-authorized amount will be released by the hotel after departure .Children up to 18 years old stay free (with existing bedding) when sharing a room with a paying adult on a room only rate. But not exceeding the maximum occupancy of the room type booked. Bed & Breakfast, Half Board and Full Board bookings are only inclusive of meals for paying adults, children under 5.99 years eat for free from the children’s menu when accompanied by a paying adult. Children aged 6 to 12 enjoy a 50% discount on Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner buffet at an additional charge.The hotel will be closed for renovations from June 16 - September 1, 2025. Enhancements include upgrades to guest rooms, the lobby, restaurants, lobby bar, main pool, and gardens. McGettigan’s JBR will remain open with direct street access. We look forward to welcoming you back to a refreshed experience in September 2025.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation.

The location is perfect - private beach, short walk from Blue Waters and 10 min walk to metro for going downtown. The food in the restaurant was excellent for both breakfast and dinner with a different themed menu each day. Access to the executive lounge for guests in suites was a very welcome addition, particularly for complimentary afternoon tea, would definitely stay in the family suite again. We didn't avail of the free drinks in the executive lounge in the evening, but all that makes a suite very good value for money, especially if you are a family.

As someone who isn’t the biggest fan of sweets, I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of cakes. They were truly delicious! The Corner King room offers a sea view that is absolutely stunning

Amazing beach - Clean. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff very usefull, assisted in every question. Lobby is so big and official. You feel that you are part of something ceremonial. The breakfast was very tasty and fresh.
