Resort Overview

The award-winning 5-star luxurious Bab Al Shams Desert Resort is designed to resemble a fortified rural Arab village amidst the Dubai desert landscape.
Enjoy peaceful seclusion and efficiency altogether as we are located only 45 minutes from Dubai’s city centre, and in close proximity to off-site attractions like the Al Qudra man-made lakes and scenic cycling and camping spots. Being within the Al Marmoom Reserve, it’s also not uncommon to catch the abundance of native fauna wandering in the sand. Step into this reinvigorated oasis within the dunes, punctuated with redefining experiences for bold and freewheeling souls.

The half-board rate is valid for 1 or 2 adults. An additional charge will apply at the hotel for extra person and children. Special brunch is not included in the half-board rate. A meal upgrade is available with an additional charge to be paid at the venue.
Half-board meal (dinner) will be served in All Day Dining Restaurant, Zala Restaurant only. To upgrade dinner to Al Hadheerah Desert Restaurant (Mainly Arabic cuisines), a supplement will charged at the hotel directly.
Room rates on 31 December include a gala dinner. Any guests in excess of the maximum occupancy of the room, including children, will be charged separately

This hotel is absolutely amazing. We loved everything about it ! The accommodation, facilities , the staff and food are excellent , and the Al Hadeera show and food was spectacular. We were sad to leave today and will definitely be returning to this hotel again. We cannot praise the staff and the accommodation enough. Restaurants are excellent and we enjoyed the music on the roof top bar .

Worst check in experience, with a staff member from reception literally joking in our faces making us loose time and providing us with all wrong information. In the end he was always smiling pretending that he had the best will ever by trying to help us while he was making exactly the opposite.

- The resort is beautiful and the staff were generally very friendly. - We had some issues at check-in but they were eventually sorted and we were given a free upgrade to apologise for the inconvenience. - the room was beautiful and a very good size. We had a lovely terrace overlooking the desert and the bathroom is stunning - we had a massage at the spa, which was amazing (but sadly didn't have time to try the rest of the spa facilities)

I recently stayed at the Bab Al Sham hotel and wanted to share this exceptional experience. The establishment offers a magnificent setting that perfectly blends traditional Arabic architecture with contemporary luxury. What particularly impressed me was the quality of service. The staff is extremely attentive and kind, creating a welcoming atmosphere from the moment of arrival. I must highlight the excellence of Chef Ahmed Ibrahim and his team, whose delicious and finely prepared cuisine demonstrates genuine culinary expertise in the hotel's restaurants.My wife has food allergy and the chef took time to review all dishes with us and even made some plates for my wife.When I thanked him, he simply said "that's my job and I'm delighted to do it".I would like to thank him again for his professionalism and his kindness, because he is an exceptional man. Server Amro also deserves special mention for his professionalism and kindness. The rooms are spacious and elegantly decorated, the facilities are impeccable, and the general ambiance is filled with serenity. Bab Al Sham offers a complete hotel experience where comfort and luxury are matched only by the quality of service. An establishment I highly recommend for an unforgettable stay.
