The fine print
Please note that guests might experience some noise disturbance from the construction in the surrounding area. Guests are required to present the credit card used to make the reservation. If the credit card's owner is not the person staying at the hotel, the payment cannot be completed and a valid credit card from the residing guest will be required upon arrival to cover the entire stay. The hotel accommodates families and married couples. Bachelors are also welcome but due to security reasons they cannot have any visitors in their rooms. Visitors can visit guests only in the lobby or the coffee shop. Al Khoory Hotel Apartments is a smoke free hotel and hence it is strictly prohibited to smoke in the hotel premises. All guests shall mandatorily comply with the no smoking regulation and violators shall be penalized as per the relevant provisions of UAE Law. We were upgraded from a two-bed to a three-bed apartment, and also given late check-out until 1pm. The master bedroom was ensuite, and the other two rooms shared a bathroom. There was an extra guest toilet. The hotel was straightforward to find, and the parking underground was easy to get into. Check-in was quick and effortless. The reception staff were very professional in dealing with us. The porter, Ganesh (I believe this is his name) was very friendly and helpful to our party of three. The apartment was huge and very clean. It had all the amenities you'd expect, such as soap for hands and bathing. There was no body cream. The kitchen was fully stocked, and I was able to easily cook breakfast and warm up food. The microwave was huge. It was easy to order food through Talabat directly to my room, which was extremely convenient. Two big 1.5 litre bottles of water were in the kitchen on arrival. Although I didn't need my apartment cleaned, I was able to easily get extra bottles of water from Imtiyaz and Dinyal, my room attendants over two different days. They were very friendly and cheerful. I did use the gym once, which was better equipped than most hotel gyms, and the pool was on the roof with a lifeguard. It also had a sauna and steam room, which weren't on during my stay. I was able to log into my Netflix and watch films on the TV in the apartment. There were so many positives: It was a home away from home. The Mall of the Emirates Metro station was about 10 minutes walk from the hotel apartment. There was a closer metro station which we didn't use. The area is surrounded by several shops and restaurants, which is convenient. We didn't have the hotel breakfast. There was a large balcony around most of the apartment, but no chairs to sit on.
