Hotel is lovely and most staff were exceptional. Night porter is useless and the blonde receptionist is unfriendly/ ignores you unless she has to engage. Lovely location with great nearby pub/restaurant if you want to eat out. Rooms are mostly great.

Liked the leisure facilities they were very clean and as expected. The gentleman at the leisure reception was very friendly and helpful. The room was ok, clean but a bit dated, however looked like the hotel was being refurbished in parts

We liked our room, watched a deer in the woods from our bedroom window. We enjoyed dinner. The potato scones and Lorne sausage for breakfast were excellent, very tasty.

The staff were very friendly and helpful on arrival, the room was clean and very comfortable and after a long walk I really enjoyed a soak in the bath.

i couldn't use the spa as i wasn't aware i had to bring my own towel/gown and as i book massage which was earlier than my check in i had no access to towels ,food was amazing apart from breakfast as we where not told we had a choice of eggs ,did not see the sign till after we had pucked our breakfast if we where made aware of that entering the restaurant for breakfast we would have requested our choice and potato scones were deep fried which ruined them

Room is spacious and clean. Bed is extremely comfortable. It was great to be able to go to the swimming pool, jacuzzi, hammam and sauna after the WHW hike. Too bad we stayed only one night otherwise we would have enjoyed the table tennis too. Dinner was delicious. Staff very friendly.
