Charming place with a magical atmosphere and New Year’s maritime traditions and even a decorated New Year’s tree on the bow of the ship. Having coffee in the morning at the cafe on board while watching the sun rise on the Elbe is something amazing. Also a great place for families with children and for those who prefer to start their day with a refreshing run. On the board you can find the latest newspapers, brochures about the main cultural events of the city and delicious cappuccino and cakes. Super Place!

Nice place, friendly staff, you may want to consider their breakfast if you wanna a substantial and practical meal before starting the day with eggs, ham, bacon, musli, fruit etc. But nothing super special, just a good option and pragmatic choice.

The location is great, within walking distance of the historic centre of Dresden, and very close to the Neustadt train station. And it's lovely to have ducks swimming by your window! Breakfast is superb too. And it's not cold at all.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The hotel is truly unique, with its charming and thoughtful details that make it stand out from the usual options. The person at the front desk was incredibly helpful and welcoming. They went above and beyond to make my stay enjoyable, providing detailed guides to the city and suggesting local spots I wouldn’t have discovered on my own.

Worths its money, however you should be ready for weird room-cabin. The experience is unforgettable. Good for just layover.

The room was cozy, comfortable and nicely decorated. They gave us ear plugs which was a nice touch because it does get noisy, since many young adults have loud music and talk loud until late. The staff was super nice and helpful and it was a nice experience!

Guy (Chris?) at reception is a legend, helped with storing our bags post check out as our train wasn't for another few hours, and a doll to chat with. Location is so lovely and convenient to walk into city. Sitting out on deck was so nice. Breakfast was very nice and good variety.

We loved the opportunity to spend a night onboard a ship. It turned out it was more enjoyable than we expected. The reception staff, at both check in and out, were very welcoming, professional and friendly. We were offered all necessary info about the stay and how to get to the old town, including free map, from a lovely lady during the check in process. Cabins are spacious, considering design of the vessel. All areas were really clean and tidy. Especially showers and toilets were kept in a really clean condition. Availability of the close by car park, though not for free, was also a plus. Rat plugs, offered as a precaution by the management, turned out to be unnecessary. It was really nice that the ship is really close to the old town, 15 minutes stroll, when we had to return at night. We did not have to use it but there was a floor fan in the cabin for those really humid nights. Well thought.
