I appreciated a lot the availability and the kindness of the staff: when I arrived, they gave me a list of the best restaurants nearby the hotel and their type of cuisine. On the day of departure I found a Christmas chocolate outside my door. In my opinion, these details are indicative about the goodness of the structure!

I stayed here as for some reason the hotel prices in Dresden were absolutely crazy the night I needed to stay. I am 50 years old (and female) and haven't stayed in a hostel for years and years. i was very pleasantly surprised and will consider the option again. The staff were nice and really helpful, the bed surprisingly comfy - I needed to work and the table and chair in the room were much more practical than many business hotels I stay in. Sensibly located plugs. Shower pressure was great. Sheets and duvet cover provided (I didn't even think about that beforehand). The breakfast was a fairly typical German breakfast offering but it would put 99% of UK hotels I stay in to shame - huge fresh bread selection, salads, cheeses, lots of fruit etc. Really nice - walking distance from the town centre.

Very good breakfast. Very near to the city center (10/15 min. walk) Coffee machine in the entrance lobby (very good coffee) Very friendly and helpful staff.

Perfect for what I needed, whether as regards location, facilities or value for money. It felt like being back in a hall of residence room I once had in a German university in the 1970s, and the breakfast was superb.
