The big room with two beds- room 1 (upgrade) in the separate house, the clean bed linen, the polite, accommodating and smiling cleaning staff, the good food from the farm and its yummy apple juice, the nice smelling soaps, the quiet peace of the location, the amazing home-made smoked ham when cut super thin and homemade light kougelhopf and the generous serves of food. Also appreciated the small morning talks with Philippe Finck about the farm and him organising me an egg for breakfast and him helping with luggage at check in. Kitchen staff were hard working and humble and made good food.

Great atmosphere and great looks. Very old and historic building. Room was modern and well maintained. Had screens to darken the room completely during the night. Bathroom was good. Directly connected to the garden, which was great. Food portions are big (dinner). Breakfast was okay, not very special, a little basic but for sure not bad. The location is quiet yet nearby a treetop walk and some mountain scenery.

Fairly spartan room, albeit comfortable enough, in the old timber-framed mill house at the bottom end of the property. The main reason for staying here is the tranquil location and the honest quality food served in the restaurant. Friendly staff and ample breakfast.
