Good location, close to train station, the shops and the white cliffs. The landlord was very friendly, and the toilet was very clean.

Amazing historical building with very friendly staff, somewhat densely packed but still spacious rooms, wonderful clean bathrooms and located right at the head of the main pedestrian boulevard. And the beds were as comfy as I have ever seen in a hostel! I only stayed one night though, so cannot speak to the social aspect of the place.

Booked for me by my parents, as a solo traveller with a 1 yr old. We felt safe here. Geoff was a great host. The accommodation was very nice with homely touches.

5 minutes walk from Dover train or bus stations. Warm bed in 6 bed dormitory room.

Good and friendly host. It was undergoing refurbishment and will be superior once completed. Not many rooms available due to this - we had only room so obviously very private!

After doing research and for a family of 5 this was one of the cheapest bookings with better reviews coming up as a over night stay ready for an early ferry in the morning, then the same later ferry in calais so stay over the night to drive home in the morning. This accommodation is a HOSTEL, not a HOTEL. Main door has a code lock, the family room has its own separate code lock aswell. The owner is very lovely. Took time to show you your room and facilities etc. we booked the family room which was the whole female dorm. Which consisted of 2 sets of bunk beds and a double bed Lovely and clean. How to describe room was my children said it looks and feels like their nanny's sleepover bedroom (which they love). Gave clean towels and a kettle in the room. When asked before booking did we have own bathroom. The answer is yes but it is opposite the dorm not in the dorm. But again was only for use for us. Lovely shower, clean toilets etc It is in the center of dover town 4 mins from dover port. Not far from shops, bars etc plently of takeaways.
