Lovely place to stay, right on the sea front. Only 1 issue and that was leaking windows that let too much cold air in, but the room itself was lovely and the bed the best I’ve come across in a hotel.

I was upgraded on arrival to a Sea View larger room. Plenty of on street parking, no overnight restrictions. 1 minute drive from Ferry terminal. Would have been happy to stay longer, and I would certainly book again on next visit to the Isle of Man be it for work or leisure.

Great position right on the seafront a short walk to bars and restaurants. I checked in a little early, and got an amazing free upgrade to a suite room called “South” stunning seafront views, and two lovely recliners in the window to watch the world go by. Staff are amazing and will assist you if you have any questions.

The staff were lovely. They upgraded our room to a suite because it was Valentines Night and there was chocolates for us. The bed was comfy.

It was the perfect base for getting out and about. Situated on the promenade, a few minutes walk to shops and cafes/restaurants, while buses (which are excellent) stop pretty much outside the hotel. If you’re using public transport to get around the island, I’d recommend buying a travel card which allows you to use the buses, trains and trams for a fixed number of days - the price varies as to the number of days required. Our room was clean, with a very large, comfy bed and a hot bath/shower. Complimentary shower gel, hand wash and shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. TV, tea and coffee making facilities (which were well replenished) in the room, and a view of Douglas Bay and the Irish Sea beyond from the window. ‘Sally The Seagull’ and her two (fairly large!) babies were an amusing distraction outside on the wide window-ledge as we enjoyed our morning cuppa! The bar and dining room seemed very pleasant, though we did not really use them. All the staff we met were, without exception, very polite and helpful.
