Paid through the nose because of the football but can’t complain about this hotel. Rooms are small and quirky but the beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Location was excellent. Staff friendly.

Easy Check in with polite helpful staff. Room was very clean. Bed is very comfortable Shower is fantastic. Good size TV with airplay. Great location to all bars, restaurants and shops. Breakfast is very good, good choice and plentiful. Would definitely recommend and would stay again.

It's an easy going, no fuss hotel (more like a nice hostel) in the interesting old health authority building. Reception staff was friendly.

Small but nice room, superclean, the interestingly decorated lobby and stairs. Close to the center of the city and the Christmas market.

The building has been converted to a hotel from an old government building, a very good example of conservation of architectural heritage. Especially, the spiral staircase is a must see, one of the most elegant pieces of design I have seen in a city hotel. Nice terrace bar on the roof, overlooking the historical centre. Key card controlled entries to the guest room corridors created an enhanced sense of security. Hot water in the rooms was instant and plenty, lovely. Location is very close to the centre and within easy walking distance to several subway stations and the hauptbahnhof.

The building was originally the Gesundheitsamt, a beautiful building from 1960 with postwar modern architecture, since it is protected all the original distribution remains, but is completely renovated. The rooms are in what used to be the offices. There is an interesting old elevator, along with a big modern one. The design and colors of the rooms is all reminiscent of the 50s. I found it extremely interesting.
