I got an upgrade to a full apartment because of a technical problem in the room foreseen, which could not be repaired at the same day. This was very good quality for money. The location's building is not beautiful but very central. Shops and restaurants are just around the corner and the rail way station is at10-15 mins walking distance.

Excellent Location right next the train station. Everything within walking distance. The Manager was extremely help full.

I am a traveller with basic needs. I don't need a load of facilities, just a quiet room with a comfortable bed and clean bathroom and City Pension was perfect in that respect. To get two nights for around €100 was already good but I knew there would be compromises but, in terms of the basics, nothing at all was compromised and was to the standard I'd expect from a far more expensive place. I also wanted to say a special thank you to the guy managing the place who tolerated my problems with the key card with good humour. If you want a no frills place to sleep in Dortmund, this place is hard to beat in my view.

The location is perfect and the bedroom has everything needed. For a trip of two-three days to discover the city, is perfect.
