Staff were very friendly and helpful, room very comfortable and well-equipped complete with little extras that you wouldn't necessarily expect (towelling robe, hairdryer, shortbread biscuits!) but which were really appreciated. Breakfast was excellent.

A little gem in a quiet location hospitality exceptional food for dinner was really good and continental breakfast was beyond expectations. The room looked over the garden which was a delight in the morning all in all the best b and b from a pub we have ever stayed in.

We had a lovely stay on valentines night and the staff were lovely. We would love to come back in the spring/summer as the outside space looks gorgeous.

Second time staying here - room 1 is cosy but perfectly fine for a couple and it's a nice place to stay.

An outstanding village pub that serves excellent, uncomplicated but imaginative food and obviously appeals to locals and visitors alike.. The garden was beautiful and everything about the place was immaculately presented. The interior design and makeover was thoughtful and in keeping with the original building. The coffee shop outside the front door was a really nice touch - full of dog walkers in the morning. Breakfast was the best I have had in the UK and the vegetarian food options were fantastic.

This is a really quaint pub with cosy accommodation. We had the family suite and although initially it was made up as a double and one single bed, staff quickly made a second single bed up as we were three single travellers. The accommodation was clean with lovely fluffy bath robes, good tea and coffee making facilities. Dinner and breakfast were really good.
