This country house hotel has a quiet location, looking out over the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands and Galway Bay. It has free parking, luxury rooms and an award-winning restaurant.
The Ballinalacken Castle Country House Hotel is on the West Coast of Ireland, 4 miles from the spa town of Lisdoonvarna and 3 miles from the village of Doolin.
The house was built in 1840 and is now a family-run hotel. It mixes original charm with modern comforts.
The large en suite rooms are traditionally decorated. Some have an ocean view, antique furnishings, four-poster beds, baths and real fires.
There is a small bar and the restaurant specialises in local seafood. It offers a full cooked Irish breakfast every day and is open each evening (except Tuesdays).

Excellent staff. Good breakfast. Castle tour presented by owner was quite interesting. Room was exceptionally clean. Would stay here again!

My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again if we come back to visit Ireland. We only stayed the one night however would definitely have booked 2 nights if we had known how wonderful the place was. The place was close to the Cliffs of Mohar which is one of the reasons we selected this location. Would highly recommend.

Dinner and breakfast were delicious! Got a great night’s sleep in very comfortable bed. Tour of the castle ruins were an unexpected surprise.
