Old style pub with the basic essentials in a picturesque country town. Central to shops and walking trails. Friendly staff. Comfortable room.

The room was very basic with 2 double queen size beds The food in the restaurant was good we had fresh fish and chips The staff were lovely and the people welcoming

Rooms were clean, comfortable and tidy but a little aged - as can be anticipated. There are NO EN-SUITE bathrooms at this hotel but the shared bathrooms were clean and well maintained and stocked with additional soaps. There is also a shared kitchen to make yourself a coffee or tea. Staff were pleasant and helpful. We did not eat at the Donnybrook Hotel. We had breakfast and snacks at the Big Apple Bakery next door, which provided wonderful coffee and food ranging from croissants to pies and sandwiches and lots in between
