Zon and his family were so lovely and accommodating. They booked us onto a tour, and booked us onward travel. They were very tentative, breakfast was delicious, the room was clean and comfortable. Very much recommended staying here.

I really like this place even though we spent there just a while but we received so much help that i feel like it was a really long time! We were picked up by the owner from the bus station in the middle of the night. The room was realy big, clean and nice. Breakfast really tasty. The whole place is really pretty! Next morning we were starting our jungle adventure and the owner was so kind that allowed us to leave the luggages in his place for 2 days. How sweet is that! When we were back we were also allowed to use toilets and received help with arranging the taxi to the airport which is quite far away. This place is run by some really cool pepole! Thank you for all

We were warmly welcomed in the middle of the night by the family who kindly stayed up for us. The rooms are spacious, very tidy and beds amazingly comfy. Bathroom perfectly clean as well. Functional airco. The family father (I'm so sorry I forgot your name!), helped us to figure out a planning for the duration of our stay and arranged a scooter for us. He also kindly helped us find and book a bus when we left the city, although we had to leave early and cancel a night at his place due to bad weather conditions - thank you again for understanding ! Delicious breakfast too !

We loved our stay in Phong Nha Friendly Home. Mr. Zon was so friendly and helpful in collecting us in the middle of the night from our bus, organising bus tickets and dropping us in for it too! Would highly recommend anyone to stay here!

Room was clean bright and modern . A little small with a big bed . The Host Zon was super helpful booking 2 day trips for me and arranging a taxi to catch sleeper train in Doi Hong

Following a hectic arrival from Hanoi and a tumble about on the local B4, The location is very much amongst local people which is really nice. Off the beaten track allowed for a rest from the hectic life in Vietnam. You can easily walk about 15/20mins to the local Phong Nha centre of town if you wanted to which we did on several occasions easily. Yuen was a most helpful host, his advice was great and we liked how helpful he was. His brother took us to Dong Hoi and negotiated with the railway staff to look after our luggage so we could go sightseeing around the city. Brilliant… I can’t even remember whether there was a TV or not as we had too much to see and do to be bothered. The view from the top deck over our room was amazing. See pictures. All locals were interactive. The food was tasty, edible, not greasy and not fried!! Great value for money. Lovely, lovely meals, breakfasts and general setting. Yuen and his wonderful family ( beautifully inquisitive children) were inviting kind host. Would we stay again? Only answer has to be YES!!

The homestay is situated a little bit outside the city. Mr zon is a great owner. I can get from the busstop, even later in the evening. He can also help you with tours or bring you.
