The hotel has been open for 3 years but the room quality is still very good. The staff speaks English, they have a map of the city and some recommendations so you can visit this beautiful city. There are many delicious local dishes that the hotel owner recommends. I really don't remember all the dishes. I encourage you to come here if you don't have any specific schedule yet.

1)Wonderful location, 5 min walk to get seaside, 10 min walk to get market and main street for food and shopping. 2)Manager Quang is super nice. He is humble and sincere. He spend so much time to help me for flight change, which is really not his job. I can't expect more for a hotel.

Everything about the property was amazing! Beds were comfortable and clean, shower was nice and powerful. The best thing however was King Quang, what a man 🙌🙌 couldn’t have been more helpful, picked us up from where we got dropped, and then arranged a perfect tour for us the following day at a really good price. He also sorted our transport to Da Nang and was constantly on WhatsApp for any of our problems. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Dong Hoi, and I would come back just to visit Quang again.

This place was great and Quang was a great host. It rained a lot during my stay but due to the great location I was able to enjoy fabulous food, the river front area and when the rain eased, the beach. I enjoyed the slower pace here and the Minh Quang Hotel was perfect for my short stay in Dong Hoi.

Great hotel! The owners are very friendly, kind, and helpful. We stayed at the 8th floor and the view is amazing!!! The room is modern, very clean, with great air conditioning and TV with netflix and other apps. It is also really good located near the river and a lot of nice coffee places and restaurants. We took a night train and we could leave our backpacks at the reception and when we came back we could use the toilet and even shower. That was really helpful. I really recommend this hotel!

We had the most incredible view on the 8th floor, the beds were so comfy and the children were able to have some down time as the Netflix was in English. All staff were very friendly and helpful when we needed to get a bus to our next destination.

Minh Quang was a great hotel in a really nice part of town. Our host offered to collect us from the station (and drive us back quite early one morning) for a very reasonable price which meant we had no concerns about finding the hotel. The room was huge with two double beds, lots of space for storage and a big bathroom. We had a fridge too which is always handy and a very reasonable laundry service. We were on the 7th floor (and there was a super speedy lift) which offered us a great view of the city even though it was a bit misty. The location was away from the busy part of the city (but close enough to walk) and quite near the river with lots of cafes in easy reach (Tree Hugger is a must). Our host was always on hand to help us with any queries and had great English, he also recommended some cave trips and other sights too.
