this is the perfect spot to totally unwind in a beautiful location. The accommodation is simple and totally authentic and very comfortable . owner Marcus very nice man and his lovely wife had stove lit before our arrival

Stunning views. The lake is gorgeous and accessible. The Yurt was spacious and comfortable. We made a stove fire every night to keep nice and cosy. The communal area was well kept and the facilties were great. Pack your own dry foods and cold products as there are designated spaces in the cupboards and fridges. The rechargeable lanterns were a nice touch. If you are looking for an off grid, eco friendly experience surrounded by nature, this is the place. It's pet friendly on request and their own dog Archie is the best boy.

The yurt and the lodge (shared kitchen and recreational area) were absolutely stunning! Shared bathroom and showers were super clean and comfortable. On the first night we had burgers provided by the Lodge: very nice meat and baps; otherwise we could cook and eat our own food, which was very convenient, especially because of the remote location. The yurts have no electricity: lanterns and reading lamps are provided and are rechargeable in the lodge + hot water bottles and fire wood are also provided as well as warm duvet/rugs. Finally, we very much appreciated the attention to details and to environment sustainability.

The Yurts are great fun to stay in and the Wood Burner ensures the accommodation remains warm. Beautiful private views of the Lake and countryside from the comfort of your Bed and cool to see the night stars through the domed Glass ceiling. In the shared Lounge/Kitchen each Yurt has their own Fridge and cupboard space which works very well. Showers and Toilet area is spacious and spotlessly clean. Managed to catch a Pike from the lake in a short Fishing session before we had to leave - we'll be back!

we absolutely loved everything about this place. so peaceful and tranquil just what we needed as being so busy in our every day life. could not ask for anything more.outstanding craftsmanship. the area is fantastic as it's still so close to all beaches (our favorite was mervagh beach just down the road) and near to Donegal and bundoran. can't wait to go back. ❤️ Christine, David and Niko (our dog) x

A beautiful, quiet, peaceful stay in Donegal. A well thought through self-catering/ camping experience. We had beautiful weather which of course helped! A superb location, we would love to stay again.

Beautiful location, the yurt was extremely comfortable, can get a little cold at night time so bring clothes to wrap up or use the little stove provided.

I loved absolutely everything about this property, it was a much needed break to switch off and it definitely did that.the Shepards hit and the main house were absolutely spotless and the attention to detail was amazing. I wish there were more places like this for a night away.
