The accommodation was stunning and very clean. The only thing that let it down was the attitude of the owner. He made us feel like we were a nuisance to him when we check in. Apparently it was self check in but after an eight hour drive we didn’t notice the self check in thing

Excellent location by the lovely Baru river, peaceful, but only a few mins into Dominical. We saw kingfishers and lots of other birds. Our cabin was spacious with a huge comfortable bed, a good bathroom., nice little kitchen and big shady veranda.. The swimming pool is a great bonus. Rylan was very welcoming and helpful. Lots to do nearby, but also nice to just stroll up the river or along the beach. We loved La Parcella restaurant (avocado ceviche), and Ricar 2 had delicious food too. We're coming back in a few weeks!

Lovely place, everything perfect, super nice bungalows, everything you need. The swimming pool is also great. Playa Dominicalito is great. Many shops and restaurants around. I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at Bamboo River House so much that we decided to come back there to finish our 3 week trip in Costa Rica 8we stay 8 nights in total over two stayed)! When you arrive you feel like you are part of a small community where you say hello to your neighbours. Ryland is a great host, super nice, friendly and helpful. We stayed in one of the big flats and it was super confortable and clean with all you need to cook yourself delicious meals. The terrace is lovely and the hamac is super comfortable. It is located on the river, 5 minutes by car from the centre of Dominical or 20 minutes walk. We will definitly be back!!

We booked one of the apartments and a smaller bungalow. Both were clean, comfortable with good Aircon and hot water. The apartment was spacious and well equipped. Some reviews critised the pool but we swam in it and it was fine.

Great property, exceeded my expectations. Spotless clean, very comfortable beds and thoughtful additions to the facilities offered, for example my room even had a blender for making smoothies. The gardens are full of singing birds too and the management very responsive, helpful and friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, family-run hotel. The staff are welcoming and the facilities are great. Location is great for heading into Dominical, where there are restaurants and the main beach. The river runs next to the hotel and is good for a refreshing dip. Great stay overall.

Clean, spacious, comfortable. Fridge and tea making facilities in the room. Lovely swimming pool. Super helpful owner, great communication, nothing too much trouble. Happy for guest visitors to use the pool. Close to Main Street and beaches.
