WiFi is available in public areas and is free of charge.sleep 'n fly Sleep Lounge, SOUTH Node - TRANSIT ONLY Hamad International Airport (Transit Area) features state-of-the-art FlexiSuite Sleep Pods, in addition to YAWN Double and Bunk Cabins, some of which come with a pull-out kids’ bed for an extra charge.After check-in, guests are escorted to the Sleep Pod/Cabin by one of the hostesses. Guests can use the public restrooms that are located just outside the Sleep Lounge. Showers are available for an extra charge at only a few minutes walk away from the Sleep Lounge.

This package includes a large pillow, 100% cotton bed sheet and a fleece blanket. Elegant French design, solid wood and packed with features for a comfortable stay makes the new sleep ’n fly FlexiSuite the Sleep Pod of choice, even for extended airport transit periods. Resembling the latest in airline first class suites rather than a Pod in the classic sense we launched this new state-of-the-art sleep concept during the summer of 2020. FlexiSuite features include a 90°-180° seat to flat-bed with individually controlled back and footrests connecting with a fixed ottoman seat, a 200x70 cm leather surface area for a comfortable rest, overhead carry-on baggage storage, a coat hanger, large mirror and all LED indirect lighting with dimmer switch for a cozy ambience. Further amenities comprise power/USB sockets, a reading light, a solid wooden folding table (which doubles as a small desk), a small waste bin, cup holders as well as lots of storage space for your shoes, tablet or mobile phone. Each FlexiSuite further features individually controlled air-condition, a 32” screen to be connected to your laptop, tablet or smartphone via HDMI (adapter provided, own headset to be brought by guest). For privacy the FlexiSuite has sound proofing and is lockable from the inside, with a large green or red LED lighting strip on its façade showing the occupancy status. It was simple accommodation, small space, but had enough comfort and amenities as needed. Was also very quiet so made it easy to rest.

It was confortable for a pod and I could get some sleep, it's what I wanted during my long layover.

The lounge was centrally located close to the teddy bear. I loved that we could book a double bed for our toddler to get a few hours of sleep during our transit. We did have lounge access but the lounges get full and you are not guaranteed an area where it's possible to sleep.
