Suranga is an absolute legend and his wife is so kind. Beautifully happy people that will let you do your own thing but also help you with anything you need or if there's something you want to do! Me and some other guests went into the jungle with his tuk tuk for a day and had an absolute riot and belly laughed all day <3 Suranga also took me into town when my phone charger died and took me to the best shop which one of his friends owned too, he knows everyone in Hirikiteya so you're bound to have the BEST visit if you stay here :) also in terms of location you can't get much better! Less than 5 minutes walk to the surf beach and all shops, bars and restaurants yet still super peaceful. I only booked a few nights but ended up staying till my flight home! The place is super clean, you have everything you need and a kitchen to make coffees or prepare simple food :) Thank you so much!

Amazing cosy space with clean a bathroom and green garden. Welcoming and warm manager. Really good person who is understanding and helpful. Less than 100 meters to the beach drom the property.

Location was great, very short walk to beach. Not in the centre of the ‘newer’ part of Hiriketiya, but very close to some great food spots and the beach. Nice and quiet. We liked the garden as well!

We got the budget double room. It was basic with a bed, large mosquito net, room for bags and a on suite wash room. The bed was very comfy, it came with a fan to keep cool on a evening, the coast was very kind and cleaned our room half way through our stay and helped with travel. Your 2 min walk away from the beach and the accomodation is in a amazing spot of nature. Highly recommend, we loved our stay!

Suranga is a wonderful kind owner you can trust - I realized this is the most important crtieria for lodging especially when traveling alone. I had to leave my original hotel Casa Vana, due to a bad situation (it cost 6x as much, but had a manager i did not trust, who did not even provide basic wifi, only a small windowless room, with loud construction noise), so I was glad to find a room available here. The facility is very basic, with unfinished floors and walls. I would describe the place as functional and budget friendly. The most important aspect was getting insight and help from owner Suranga, who also drives tuktuk, and helped drive me and arrange an affordable safari trip to Udawalawe National Park early in the morning. He also got me early to the train station for my departure. And recommended a very good surf instructor for a lesson. It was extremely convenient to know a local person you can trust. His restaurant recommendation was also the best food I had in Hiriketiya! Thanks, Suranga!

This was an excellent and affordable stay. Great position close to the beach. Air conditioned lovely room. Hosts were awesome and helped us sort our next travel plans. Could not fault it. 1000% recommend
