Elina and Andreas were excellent hosts and had the house nicely prepared with food, coffee, tourist maps waiting for us. They even upgraded us to a larger accomodation that was available. The glat is recent construction, it is nice and comfortable. Really practical location if you arrive or leave the island with the ferry in Diakofti. You can see the ferry from your window. In Diakofti, 200m from the accomodation there is an impressive cave you can get into, where human remains from the neolitic times, 6000 years BC, were found. Khytira is an amazing and beautiful island.

Lovely place to stay. 5 minute walk to one of the best beaches on Kythira and a very central place from which to explore the island. Andreas is a wonderful host and provided a great welcome and very useful information.
