Please share your flight details with the property at least 72 hours before your arrival to secure your seat(s) for the transfer.The property can be reached by a seaplane.Seaplane Transfer Seaplanes fly during daylight hours only, between 06:00–18:00.Airline policy requires passengers to check-in not later than 2 hours before flight time; therefore, a Vilu Reef guest can connect by seaplane only to international flights departing Male’ after 9:00. The last seaplane departure from Vilu Reef is at about 15:00.Guests arriving on an international flight from which it is not possible to connect with the last seaplane departure from the TMA Terminal (the guest must check-in at the TMA Terminal no later than 1600) may choose to overnight at the Hulhule Airport Hotel, or at a hotel in Male’, or remain at the Airport. Transfer will be provided the next morning with the first available flight.Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in and making the payment at the hotel. Please note that property may contact the cardholder for verification purposes.
Due to safety and privacy concerns the operation of unmanned aerial systems or drones by any of guests including model aircraft by recreational users and hobbyists is prohibited.Sun Siyam Vilu Reef reserves the right to charge the credit card at the time of making the booking (100% of the accommodation and seaplane transfers). The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly and helpfull, especially chef Chaminda.The house reef was amazing with many sharks, eagle rays, stingrays, sea turtles and dolphins.

We spent 7 wonderful nights at this hotel with our family and had an amazing experience! One of the highlights was the exceptional care the restaurant staff provided for our 1-year-old child. They kindly prepared special meals for our baby upon request, which made our stay so much more comfortable. The transfer service was also very well-organized, making our arrival and departure smooth and stress-free. A special thank you to the hotel’s clinic doctor who took great care of our baby when he got sick halfway through our stay. The doctor prescribed the right medication and provided inhalation treatments twice a day, which helped our child recover quickly. We are truly grateful for this professional and attentive care! We highly recommend this hotel for families and would love to come back again!

Paradise! Room was beautiful and the views outstanding, sand was gorgeous. All meals were amazing. Marine life matched the best we have seen anywhere in The world. Turtles right there on the beach. Staff are helpful and friendly, any small issue was sorted instantly.

It was our first time on Maldives and we were staying in Sun Siyam Vilu Reef resort + having one excursion of manta safari. Based on this facts, my opinion of Maldives is that this is unique, georgious, divine place on Earth. Everybody who likes sunbathing, warm sea, beach, hot weather in the winter, snorkling, exploring… should visit this beautiful place and this resort. Positive things about our resort: arrival service at the airport/ assisted check-in for seaplane, escorting to and from the free lounge on the seaplane airport. Warm welcome on the island with resorts’ staff and a dedicated host to show you around and to your room. Early check in - an extra given by Booking.com but - this is only based on the availability in resort (which Booking.com missed to mention). But we were lucky that our room was ready upon our arrival, past 11am. Extraordinary nature, perfect climate (December), beach and ocean, beautiful house reef for snorkling with many different fish, baby sharks, turtles; variaty of the things to do, kidz club’s workshops and entertainment, room service 2x a day, cleanliness of the villa and surrounding. Our Beach villa with pool was great! Pool is quite big, although not heated, but serves as a refreshment and you have all the privacy, shade from the sun, swing overlooking the beach is top. Xmass Gala dinner was absolutely amazing. Variaty of the food at the buffet breakfast and dinner. Staff is very sweet, helpful and kind. They are constantly busy and engaged preparing daily themes in the resort. Mr Vijay - all the best to you, you are a real gem and you make a difference! Ladies in the Aqua buffet restaurant - thanks for all you kindness. Ladies in the Turtle Kidz Club thank you for keeping our kid entertained, included and engaged. Island doctor at Vilu Clinic - excellent service. Guys from dive center and watersports - you’re great! DJ, live band singers - you made a great atmosphere.

Initially we were assigned Beach Villa 117, but switched to 104 as it offered a better view and more privacy. There were some lovely spots for sunbathing around the island. The Spa package for couples with hydrotherapy, body and foot massage as well as a petal bath was a highlight of our stay. I enjoyed snorkelling along the reef which is located around the eastern side of the island. The water sports centre offer a lot of excursions and activities from paddle boarding to jet skiing. We did enjoy the sunset dolphin cruise, but alas did not spot any unfortunately. They have a wide variety of drinks on their bar menus which were great. The Indian food served for dinner at The Spice was enjoyable, highly recommended.

The island is stunning, the color of the sand and sea is fantastic. Good transport organisation, waiting lounge with the free neck massage. Wide selection at the breakfast in the restaurant overlooking the ocean. Good infrastructure at the island, tennis court, restaurants, water sports available. They are delivering free bottles of water every day. Due to the unavailability of our villa we were given another villa for 2 nights. The villa was great although moving things in the middle of our stay was inconvenient.

Just an amazing place to start the holiday - a great villa with direct beach access! Definitely recommended to consider the beach villa instead of water villa as well ;) all the areas were clean and well maintained - service was great! Great Gym and facilities for Morning Yoga. The outdoor shower & bath was beyond amazing.
