I stayed for a short work trip. The property was very easy to find with great communication before hand from the owners. It was easy to park and I was met by extremely friendly owners who gave me a quick tour and showed me to my room. My room was very spacious with all the amenities I required. Bed was so comfortable and I had a great night's sleep. The surrounding area is so quiet and peaceful. I asked about local walks and I was recommended a few routes and I explored the local area. I then had dinner in a local pub. Overall I was very pleased with my stay and If I am in the area again I would not hesitate to book here again.

We had a great welcome from Peter & Al, Peter is a very talented person! Unexpectedly we had a whole suite of rooms to ourselves on the top floor with a very comfortable large bed in a spacious room with views of the countryside, a lounge with large TV, kitchen and bathroom. This historic farmhouse is situated in a lovely rural situation yet near to the town and main routes. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful quiet location and tranquil setting for us 2 and our dog Ronnie, very good range of pubs within walking or short drive distance from property…… Lovely farm feel with livestock and countryside back drop all around. Hosts were very friendly and very on hand greeted with smiles and lots of information for us of places to visit locally. Very clean room very comfortable bed very well equipped all round with newly fitted bathroom facilities, we had a lovely break and our Ronnie enjoyed too. Will certainly book again many thanks for accommodating us last minute at a very good rate. Mark Dawn Rondog x

Absolutely fantastic, booked for a quiet couple of nights. Loved it, the building is gorgeous, well kept & idyllic. Perfect area close to everything. So accommodating to us and our poochy. The room was beautifully decorated, had everything we needed, the selection of teas, coffees & hot chocolate was top notch, fresh milk from the farm too, the bathroom was lovely and an excellent size. Peter & Al are great hosts and so helpful & friendly. Lovely people. We will be booking again soon.

Peaceful location, pleasant welcoming host, great facilities, lovely views over the countryside. Nice warm suite, great bath and shower, nicely presented rooms, with thoughtful decor, great TV room with Sky TV. A wide variety of drinks, milk & water in the fridge too.

It was a great stay and due to the weather I stayed another night. The host cleared the snow from the vehicles. Which was much appreciated. It was warm and cosy.
