Able to see abundant bird life from my room. Excellent hosts, guided walks and meals. Great swimming pool. All with beautiful rainforest views.

It’s family owned and the food was amazing! Also the location was perfect if you wanna do a hike to the rainforest, it’s just a few walking minutes away. Super quiet and beautiful view.

This was our best stay in the whole of Sri Lanka! First of all, we had an amazing lodge with the most beautiful view over the valley. In addition, we were warmly taken care of by the whole family: mama, papa, three sons and a daughter. Mama has the gift of being able to have very good conversations with very little English. We enjoyed that a lot, she told us all about the family and asked about ours. Chama, one of the sons, speaks fluent English and is an official guide in the Sinharaja Forest Reserve. The first morning we did an amazing hike with him through the reserve. He is very knowledgeable and can spot animals that we would not even see even if they are right in front of us. The second day Chama treated us with an early birdwatching tour! Simply amazing. And that same night we did a night tour with him as well. This was a huge adventure, during which we saw various snakes, spiders, and birds. The rest of the time we relaxed on our balcony or at the pool, walked through the rice fields in the valley, and enjoyed the delicious food cooked by the family. Thank you so much for the great care! I would recommend this homestay to everybody!

Fab location just a few minutes walk from the rainforest. The family are lovely and the son is a great guide in the rainforest. The pool is lovely and the food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Amazing views from the room.

Very comfortable and simple accommodation right by the entry to the rainforest reserve. Lovely bungalows with little verandas with a great view. Nice pool, also with a view. The lodge is run by a family, who are all very nice and helpful. Jama is also guide for rainforest hikes, very knowledgeable. Very good value for money.

Amazing stay with a super friendly and helpful family. Amazing view from your own private little terrace where lots of birds are visible, as well as fireflies at night. Nice pool to relax after a jungle hike. Great food as well!

This lodge was one of the most accommodating lodges I have stayed at! The hosts ensured that we were well taken care of from the start to end of our trip. It has a beautiful views and a lovely home stay feel. Would highly recommend this location.
