We had a brilliant stay. We booked the family room which was spacious and had the most amazing view! Our hosts were incredibly kind, helpful and went out their way to ensure we were happy. We organised a forest hike with them and it was great so definitely recommend.

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s hard to believe it’s so gorgeous, situated in the middle of dense jungle. The villa has such luxurious, comfortable rooms with incredible views. The food cooked by the family was the best vegetable curry we’ve had in the whole of Sri Lanka. We only stayed one night but wish we stayed more! We did a day tour and night tour and both were fantastic. Highly recommend staying here :)

Perfect stay! We liked location and view from the villa. Our room was small but very comfortable with nice bed and pillows. Spacious and clean bathroom. Fast wifi. We liked food, it was one of the tasties experience in Sri Lanka! Cooked by familly. Also Saman took us for a walk to the rainforest and it was perfect. Maybe the tour is more expensive than directly at the gate but it was worth of it!

We had the deluxe family room with stunning rainforest views. Spacious and beautifully decorated. We had a wow moment when we walked in!

The place was tidy and clean. The beds were comfortable. Deluxe room was spacious and bathroom was clean and nice. The breakfast had several choices and they were tasty. They provided enough quantity as well. Hospitality of the owner is admirable.

Saman and his family are super nice, always looking for the best experience for their guests. The room is quite comfortable, the breakfast was varied with local specialties. We also had Dinner there and overall the food was a great experience. We especially loved the curd with treacle for dessert.

Right on the edge of the rainforest, I could have sat out on the patio all day and night listening to the sounds and seeing the wildlife. Saman is a wonderful host, friendly and professional. He speaks great English and is extremely knowledgeable about nature and the surrounding area. His family are welcoming and friendly and cook lovely food. They clearly work extremely hard to make the best of this place. We went on a 6k trail with him as a guide through the rainforest and learnt so much along the way. It was exhilarating being in the jungle and had a swim in a beautiful waterfall. I'd love to go back and do some of the longer treks, there is so much of the rainforest to see! If you love nature and true Sri Lankan hospitality then this is the place for you. I hope to return one day.

Saman and his family were an absolute joy, very chilled, yet no request was too much. The modern and clean accommodation was perfect and nestled right next to the park where you could see tons of wildlife. We are experienced naturalists and took multiple tours with them and they were super knowledgeable and gave us a great experience. Also excellent and varied food. Would 100% book again.

The location and views were beautiful. A whole glass wall in our room as well as a verandah to take in the sights and sounds. Lovely family-run hotel, so friendly. And providing a guide service too.
