The host are cery nice people. The rainforrest is very fare, 1 hour ride, but it is nice. The bus station is close, 10-15 minutes walk. Brekfast is also very good.I can reccommend.

Lovely stay ahead of a tour of the forest! This homestay is simple but great value. A short walk from the bus station it is in the countryside so you can spot birds from the garden before you even head out for a tour! (And 100% recommend organising your tour here!) We had dinner which was a lovely homecooked mix of currys ans they catered to different needs eg vegan, veggie. Would stay here again for my next birding trip!

The area is beautiful. Short walk to the town of 15 minutes. And very nice walk through the country site to the river. There's a possibility to order breakfast and dinner which are tasty and abundant.

Gihan and his family are absolute stars. Super friendly and helpful! Had a great tour in the Sinharaja NP with Gihan as guide. He spent the entire covid period exploring the park so is a font of knowledge on the park’s fauna and flora! And you start the day with a brilliant breakfast, and they cook lovely rice and curry dinners in the evening. The area surrounding the house and nearby rice paddies are well worth exploring as they are teeming with wildlife as well! Thank you so much for an amazing 3 days!

Lovely guest house in nature but close to Deniyaya bus links. The family running it were very kind and helpful in arranging meals and a brilliant tour to the Sinharaja rainforest.

Homeowner and his wife are great and very clean. Helped us with everything, like find a tour guide and transportation. The food was great, especially the breakfast!! Great place and hosting, highly recommended.

The family was really welcoming and willing to help you. The owner is also a natural guide and will tell you so much about sinharaja forest and its animals and plants. Deniyaya is quite a remote place far from the crowds but the nature is beautiful, the house is in the countryside and there are so many monkeys and birds in the garden! It's really a peaceful and genuine atmosphere. It's really easy to get there by bus! 100% suggested.

We liked the friendly welcome and the location surrounded by trees and rice fields! The hosts also arranged a trip with a great guide to see Sinharaja forest for a fair price.
