Comfy bed, free wifi and easy parking. Food available and not bad. Staff friendly and helpful. Ideal location for my needs

Dislikes -Very rude ‘welcoming’ at the hotel - member of staff barely greeted me, no smile, made no effort to be friendly and simply said she couldn’t see my name. When eventually she found it, no apology for any potential slight panic. Didn’t tell me anything about WiFi, check out time or breakfast time which led to me nearly missing this the next morning. - Tv wasn’t working, stayed on one channel. I would’ve gone down to ask but after first encounter I didn’t want a repeat. - Dodgy toilet seat Likes - Location great as was attending a wedding 2 mins drive away. Tesco 2 mins walk which was convenient. - Lovely interaction with a man at breakfast who despite telling me I nearly missed breakfast, allowed me to order whatever from the menu. He was polite, friendly and very quick bringing out breakfast. Didn’t catch his name but he was wearing a stripy shirt and had a nose stud - perhaps the owner/manager? - No idea what time check out was but the cleaner was fine when I said I was leaving at 12pm.

The room was clean. The bed was comfy. Could’ve done with some bottled water and a little bit of music in the restaurant .

We got what we asked for - quiet room top floor. Quick check-in and easy check out, staff explained all. Good location, close to our main destination.

Food was great as were the staff and the location suited us perfectly being 6 minutes from Whilton Mill Race Track. Lots of car parking.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great for onward travel. Food available if required. The bed was lovely and comfortable, and very large, a great night's sleep.
