It's in a lovely, peaceful location. Adequate parking. Large, comfortable room. Excellent facilities - strong wi-fi, coffee, tea, milk, biscuits, water, TV. A comfortable bed. Large bathroom with complimentary soaps etc. The owner is friendly. The breakfast was marvellous! Possibly the best cooked breakfast I've ever had.

Really great value. Breakfast was fabulous, with lots of choice, chosen the night before. Host was excellent. Very clean and tidy. Big room with 4 poster, and big ensuite bathroom. Tasteful decoration. Facilitates for hot drinks, including Horlicks, with fresh milk in the room fridge. Nightcap of slow gin in the room. Peaceful location. Good parking. Wide range of times to arrive. Plenty of hot water for a bath.

I'm reviewing on behalf of my Father, as I made the booking for him, but I did visit the residence on his arrival. I only live down the road in Daventry so it was a convenient place. But we were both blown away. My Dad was in the Dorset room and it was all above and beyond what we expected (yes, we expected a fair amount as it's described as a Luxury B & B) but this was far above and beyond. The welcome by the host was brilliant. The room was absolutely beautiful, with so many added and unexpected touches. My Dad fairly recently lost his wife, and my mother, so travelling alone has been difficult. But this property was beautiful, and so comfortable (he's a 70 + year old man and he had a one hours long bath in the amazing bathroom!) 🙂He tells me that the breakfast was phenomenal, I will attach the photos he sent me. For the price, we both honestly feel this is the best B & B in the area (he's tried a few). It was brilliant. And thank you for making my Dad so comfortable.

The host was warm and welcoming, the room was a good size with a very comfortable bed and the sloe gin night cap was lovely touch. The breakfast was delicious and a very generous serving
