Close to the airport and the coast, with spacious grounds and gardens. You can enjoy the nature of Davao. There is a restaurant, bar and cafe, and the food is delicious.

We recently stayed at the Waterfront Insular Hotel in Davao and had a mixed experience. The hotel’s grounds are beautifully maintained, offering a lush, serene atmosphere perfect for relaxation. The reception area is equally impressive, exuding elegance and warmth, and their Christmas tree was absolutely stunning—the best we’ve seen this season! However, the rooms left much to be desired. While spacious, they are in desperate need of refurbishment as the decor and furnishings feel extremely dated. Additionally, the old air-conditioning units were noisy, making it difficult to enjoy a restful night’s sleep. This contrast between the beautifully kept exterior and the outdated, noisy rooms was disappointing. Overall, the Waterfront Insular Hotel has great potential with its picturesque surroundings and charming common areas, but upgrading the accommodations and modernizing the facilities would significantly enhance the guest experience.

Everytime i come home, this hotel is my go to..after a long trip a relaxing massage, a splash in the pool, walking in the beach or just strolling in the garden makes my day then waking up in a buffet breakfast makes my stay a success.plus a small gym and a jog around for losing the foods from the grilled dinner and buffet breakfast😊😉🥰.

“An Honest Review During our Stay”

Was Looking to stay at Insular Hotel, as the last time I stayed there was with my parents way back 1990s. I had good memories of the place and I excited to bring my family now together with my mom, siblings and nieces. There were already a few additional amenities such as covered area by the beach, the kalsesa had 2 shrub horses already. The last tine we were there it was only one horse shrub figure. There was also the additiona of a carabao and a man shaped figured shrub. Front Desk, Pizzaiology and Breakfast Buffet staffs were accomodating as well as the Lifeguard on duty the night we stayed. The Housekeeping incharge was also accomodwting at our requeata for several bathrobes too. Over all, aside from the fact that the sink was clogged, the dity back portion of the lavatory visible while taking a shower, crawling cockroaches ... we had a good faming bonding moment. God Bless

I liked the foods. Staff were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. They take time to talk to their visitors and always make sure that their needs are met and that they are comfortable. Even the smallest request that I made for my partner's birthday, they really made an effort to make it memorable ❤️.
