I thought I was booking a room with Oaks Apartments. However it was privately owned. I didn’t know this until the booking was completed. This should be made very clear upfront.

Great location, views of the harbour and good communication with host. We enjoyed the washer and dryer after our trip to the red centre.

It was a modern 2br hotel room, administered by a private individual (Sue). Well layed-out (2 bathrooms, decent kitchen), and walking distance to much of the CBD - although we used the dedicated carpark and drove lots of places (6mins to Cullen Bay, Sailing Club, Mindil beach, Parap, Museums). Breakfast on the balcony was good too..!
