Our host , Rebecca and Shubhanjali made me feel like family with their warm smiles and genuine care. The hospitality was unmatched—they went above and beyond to ensure every moment of my stay was comfortable and memorable. I had high expectations going in, having read the reviews at Booking.com and having chosen this place because of its high reviews. But my actual expectation ended up exceeding those expectations. We ended up having a medical emergency (unrelated to our travel to this venue) and needed to change our plans last minute, hoping to salvage the trip. Rebecca and Shubhanjali (the manager) were incredibly understanding, accommodating and helpful, and helped us make the most of the trip, even when the requests bordered on unreasonable. Look, on a trip like this, it matters a lot where you stay, and the kind of equation you have with the host. And for us, that was the key difference. The place is nice, warm, and inviting, and ended up being just what we needed. The view is unbelievable, and on clear days you can see the vast expanse of the Kunchenjunga range towering over the city on the hills. You get drinking water from the tap, which is always a bonus. The water is from a mountain spring and can be really great for your skin and palate. We had darjeeling tea in our room with a kettle, to sit and unwind with after a tiring day of exploring the alleyways of this mystical city.

The view of Mt Kanchenjunga from the balcony was something that we didn't expect to see. The owner as well as the manager were very sweet and kind to us. Rebecca, the owner, gave us yummy momos to eat as dinner as a sweet gesture during our last night. She was constantly in touch with us through her manager asking us pur well-being and our day. I would love to visit again in future. The place is clean and cozy. You may ask for extra blanket (only during extreme cold months).And the hand-made chocolates provided by her in our room was cherry on the top.

Rebecca, the host, and all her family seemed to be very nice. They provide you with tea and homemade chocolates in the room and they give you some very useful information about Darjeeling. Breakfast was homemade, fresh and delicious and one could even ask for some more. The room was clean, the double bed very comfortable. Rebecca helped us a lot with finding out about how and where to do the ILP for Sikkim, as the information was very contradictory and confusing. Thank you!

Great place and an amazing host, Rebecca. Super thanks for hosting us. She is very knowledgeable about Darjeeling and a lovely person, and took care of us as a family. We loved her efforts to make the hostel sustainable and highly appreciate her views on the environment and especially the future of the hills. The location is great, we had the best views of Kanchan Junga peaks right from the balcony. The hostel is on the main road, still away from crowds, walkable distance from the peace pagoda, Batasia, monasteries and the toy train goes right in front. Pro tip - don't miss breakfast with her.

It is very comfortable to stay here with beautiful mountain views. Darjeeling tea and thoughtful welcome chocolates are provided in the room. The owner Rebecca is a very enthusiastic and proactive person and provides very sufficient information about Darjeeling. Helped to solve any of my problems. I recommend to everyone who comes to Darjeeling to experience the enjoyment of staying here. I will come again.❤️❤️❤️

Rebecca is a wonderful host and makes all efforts to ensure her guests are comfortable and well looked after. She's an avid traveler herself and I enjoyed chatting with her about her travel experiences. The room I stayed in was neat, clean and comfortable. Appreciated the extra touches in the room, like home-made chocolates and Darjeeling tea leaves with equipment including a porcelain teapot for brewing a tasty cup. Nice views of Kanchenjunga from the gallery outside the room, subject to clear weather. Located about 2.5km from the town centre, on the approach road when coming from Siliguri. Getting around is easy, with shared and private taxis available right outside.

Everything....the rooms,the geyser,the cosy beds and closets,the homemade chocolates and special darjeeling tea .....was wonderful. But on top of everything Rebecca, the sweet and caring host, made the stay home away from home.....thank you Rebecca!I strongly recommend this place ....

The location is great and every place is easily accessible . The room was very clean and we did get the best view of Kanchanjungha from the room . I went with my mother and we felt very safe and comfortable during our stay . Rebecca is a great host , she helped us with travel . She recommended good places , cab , food, travel and made us feel like home . Thank you Rebecca 🙂

Traditional style charming building by the main road. Quiet at night. Comfortable, very clean and well maintained. The hospitality of the owner is just amazing, and her advices priceless. We spent hours talking about everything, but especially about tea. If you come for tea, I think there's no better place. Feels like home, no: better!
