Here was our „gate” to India: from Sunset Nest we flew over India’s deepnest. So here are our first and unforgettable memories of Darjeerling beautiness, spirit and culture, Himalayas on the horizon and last but not least Amit’s and his lovely Wife’s hospitality,kindnes and masterclass cooking skills. Sunset Nest apartment is tiny and cosy, contains all that is needed and even more: terrace with breathtaking view of mountains,teagardens and sky.Amit created a place with peaceful atmospherev that you wouldn’t like to leave.He was also very supportive, met all of our needs and wishes,helped to organize many things with such a friendly manners. And all breakfasts and dinners were real feasts of Nepali-Indian tastes, just incredibly delicious.10 stars is not sufficient mark for Sunset Nest as it should receive 100!We would like to be back there.

Amit ji made our stay homely , it was great . I truly recommend this home stay . I was travelling with my kid , he took care of all requirements. He was so generous that he picked us from all road in evening .

Amit and his wife are exceptional hosts. They looked after us to an extent that cannot be taken for granted. We are very grateful to have met them. The Sunset Nest is the perfect place if you want to get away from the chaos of the city. The terrace is beautiful and the hosts spoil their guests with very good food. We would stay at the Sunset Nest again anytime and can only recommend it.

We had a great three night stay at Sunset Nest. Amit is the kindest most generous host and always made sure we were able to ask for anything if needed. The view from the balcony is amazing and the room was very comfortable with a lovely hot shower. Located about 20 minutes walk to the main town and easy to navigate to, there are spectacular views of Darjeeling and Kanchenjunga on the way! Amit also helped us with transport to and from New Jalpaguri. Happily recommend staying at Sunset Nest!
