The view from the property was surreal. It was quiet and you could hear birds chirping. You get the Kanchanjunga view from the balcony. They also arranged a cake for us for the New year celebration.

This homestay is perfect for a family vacation. The rooms are comfortable, the balcony, the owner is welcoming, and the breathtaking view is a delight. My absolute favorite part is the street cat named Ginger. The location is sheltered from city crowds and traffic noise, making it an ideal spot for nature lovers and bird enthusiasts. Mrs. Bhagwati's cooking adds a comforting touch to the stay. To reach the homestay and other nearby tourist attractions, you'll need to take a cab. Plan to stay for 2-3 days to fully enjoy the peaceful environment, delicious food, and quality time with Ginger. If you visit, please say hi to Ginger for me.

The Pinewood Homestay was away from the hustle and bustle of the city . The view was phenomenal. The hospitality of the host was good . Excellent home cooked food by the host .
